I have this type of jack and while it works very well for my 31 ft travel trailer, I can not use those 'speed' bits used on power drills. If you look closely at this model it has a little hooked finger like jack handle instead of a 'hex head' so you have to use the handle provided. So be careful which one you have installed on your coach!

I had bought a set of inexpensive (cheap) leveling jacks for my wobbly Class C and was not at all happy with them. On a trip to CW I was talking with one of the floor people about the jacks and he recommended the BAL's. I bought one set as a trial, set them up on my next trip and used them on the back of the Class C. The difference was noticeable. They're much higher quality than the affordable jacks I had used before, no sway or wobble, the jack handle worked very well, although I highly recommend the Speed Socket and I have a high ground clearance rig and they are very stable at high extension. I've used them for several months now and will have them welded in place. I've been able to use just the one set on the back on my 20 footer and am very pleased with the quality of workmanship.
